Rebuild Ukraine Conference in Warsaw

The Rebuild Ukraine Conference in Warsaw brought together organizations and professionals working on the reconstruction of Ukraine and provided a platform to showcase innovative approaches to rebuilding.

Among the solutions presented was ReUpress, an innovative concept for transforming demolition waste into circular building materials. Using a mobile pressing unit, locally available demolition waste can be processed into building blocks, offering a fast, sustainable and locally produced alternative for reconstruction.

The ReUpress initiative brings together NETICS, Eco+Logic and ReThink, alongside international partners, to develop practical solutions that support Ukraine’s reconstruction while making use of locally available waste streams.

The project is supported by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and demonstrates how international collaboration, local resources and circular construction methods can contribute to a more sustainable and resilient reconstruction process in Ukraine.
