NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS FESTIVAL in brussels

The New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels brought together architects, researchers, businesses, governments and civil society organizations to exchange ideas and explore innovative approaches to the future of the built environment.

As part of the festival, Circular Lab Ukraine was presented by ReThink, showcasing practical examples and innovative solutions for circular reconstruction in Ukraine, including ReUpress.

The ReUpress Ukraine project focuses on developing innovative building materials for the reconstruction of Ukraine using recycled concrete aggregates sourced from demolition waste and war debris. By transforming locally available waste streams into new building materials, the project explores opportunities for a fast, affordable and circular approach to reconstruction.

The project brings together NETICS, ReThink and Eco+Logic, combining expertise across the Netherlands and Ukraine to develop practical and scalable solutions for the challenges of reconstruction.
